Jailbreak iOS 11.0-12.4

Le dernier jailbreak en date a été sorti par Pwn20wnd sous le nom unc0ver (compatible avec les appareils sous iOS 11.0 à iOS 13.5), parallèlement à la team Electra qui a sorti son propre jailbreak Chimera (pour iOS 12, 12.2 et 12.4 uniquement).

Versions courantes : Unc0ver: 5.3.1 - Chimera: 1.4.0

Vous aurez donc déjà un choix à faire entre ces 2 jailbreaks pour iOS 12.x. À noter: Chimera ne propose plus Cydia, mais sont remplaçant Sileo.

Contrairement aux anciens jailbreaks fonctionnant de manière "untethered" (résistant au reset), ces jailbreaks ne seront plus effectifs après redémarrage de l'appareil, il faudra alors exécuter à nouveau l'application de jailbreak sur l'appareil.

Jailbreaker un appareil ne le désimlockera pas.

Compatibilité :

Unc0ver : Tout appareil sous iOS 11.0 à iOS 3.5.

Chimera : Tout appareil à processeur A7 à A11, sous iOS 12.1.3 - 12.3 et 12.4. Pour les processeurs A12 (iPhone XS, iPhone XR), iOS 12.1.2 - 12.3 et 12.4 uniquement.

Prérequis :

  1. Avoir son iDevice mis à jour en version iOS compatible.
  2. Il est recommandé de restaurer le firmware via le mode restauration d'iTunes, les mises à jour OTA sont connues pour poser problème.
  3. Retirer tout code de verrouillage sur l'appareil (incluant le code Touche ID, dans Réglages > Touch ID et code), désactiver "localiser mon iPhone" (dans Réglages > iCloud).

Procédure :

Important : sur votre iPhone, allez dans Réglages > Général > Stockage iPhone, trouvez une éventuelle mise à jour d’iOS qui s’est téléchargée. Si elle existe, supprimez la et redémarrez votre appareil.

1ère méthode, depuis l'appareil :

  1. Depuis votre iPhone, iPad ou iPod touch, ouvrez Safari, rendez-vous sur le site https://ignition.fun.
  2. Choisissez « Use Now (Web) », touchez la deuxième icône (apps), sélectionnez « Jailbreaks » puis « Unc0ver (Official) » ou « Chimera » (selon votre choix de jailbreak).
  3. Touchez le bouton « Get » et acceptez l’installation.
  4. Une fois le fichier IPA installé, prenez votre appareil et rendez-vous dans Réglages > Général > Gestion des profils et de l’appareil, touchez le nom du profil puis « Faire confiance ».
  5. Ouvrez l’application Unc0ver ou Chimera, touchez le bouton « Jailbreak » et laissez-vous guider.

2ème méthode, depuis un ordinateur :

  1. Téléchargez la dernière version de Cydia Impactor (utilitaire permettant d'installer l'app Unc0ver ou Chimera sur l'appareil). Cydia Impactor peut être récupéré au bas de cet article ou ici : Windows, Mac OS X, Linux (32-bit), or Linux (64-bit).
  2. Selon votre choix d'outil jailbreak :
    • Téléchargez la dernière version de Unc0ver (Undecimus-vx.x.x.ipa) au bas de cet article ou ici : https://unc0ver.dev.
    • Téléchargez la dernière version de Chimera (chimera-x.x.x-12.0-12.4.ipa) au bas de cet article ou ici : https://chimera.sh.
  3. Connectez votre iPhone, iPad ou iPod touch avec le câble USB à votre ordinateur, ouvrez Cydia Impactor et faites glissez le fichier IPA préalablement téléchargé sur Cydia Impactor.
  4. Entrez votre identifiant Apple et votre mot de passe (ces données vont être envoyées sur les serveurs d’Apple, elles permettent de générer un certificat pour autoriser l’installation).
  5. Une fois le fichier IPA installé, prenez votre appareil et rendez-vous dans Réglages > Général > Gestion des profils, cliquez sur votre adresse email puis « Faire confiance ».
  6. Ouvrez l’application Unc0ver ou Chimera apparue sur l’écran d’accueil de votre appareil, cliquez sur le bouton « Jailbreak » et laissez vous guider.

L'une des paires d'icônes suivantes apparaissent alors sur votre appareil :

Si Cydia Impactor signale "You already have a current iOS Development certificate or a pending certificate request." :

  • Ouvrez Cydia Impactor sur l'rodinateur.
  • Cliquez sur le menu « Xcode ».
  • Choisissez l’option « Revoke Certificates ».
  • Entrez votre identifiant et votre mot de passe du compte Apple.
  • Cydia Impactor révoque votre certificat.
  • Réessayez d’installer le fichier IPA.

Supprimer le jailbreak :

Il vous suffira de redémarrer votre appareil, puis de supprimer simplement l'application (unc0ver ou chimera) sur votre springboard.
